LAKE FOREST, Ill.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sep. 17, 2018– IDEX Corporation (NYSE: IEX) today announced that the company has been named as one of the nation’s most trustworthy companies.
IDEX was one of only 53 large cap companies selected to the annual list of the Most Trustworthy Public Companies in the United States by TGF Analytics. IDEX is the only industrial manufacturing company to make the coveted list which includes well-known companies like Apple, Home Depot, Walt Disney World and Boeing.
According to TGF, “trust is a keystone to all good relationships— those between investor and the company in which the investment is placed, between creditors and the recipients of credit, between customers and businesses they patronize, employees and the workplace, suppliers and with whom they contract, and more.”
To develop the list, TGF Analytics evaluated more than 1,500 publicly traded companies across dozens of key metrics including financial governance, quality of earnings, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors, and relative risk. Only companies that receive A+ ratings are in consideration for the annual list. Less than 5 percent of publicly traded companies earned an A+ Trust Rating from TGF Analytics.
“At IDEX, there is nothing more important to us than earning and keeping the trust of our customers, investors, employees and community members. Our mission is, and always has been, to develop trusted solutions that improve lives so receiving a recognition like this that validates our work as a trusted partner is particularly meaningful,” said IDEX Chairman and CEO Andy Silvernail.
