After more than 25 years leading IDEX businesses to enhanced results, Chris now helps the company’s teams around the globe as Vice President, Strategic Business Optimization. He leads the Office of Business Services (OBS), a team of subject matter experts centered around embedding excellence through core IDEX Operating Model processes. The OBS team empowers great teams to strive for excellence through our operating model to drive a culture of sustainable, profitable growth.
Before taking on his most recent role in 2023, Chris served as President of IDEX Material Processing Technologies (MPT), where the team implemented a repeatable process for Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs) and a Kaizen mindset of continuous improvement. Before MPT, he led the IDEX dosing businesses. Chris became General Manager of Hurst Jaws of Life™ and President of Rescue in 2012, overseeing the installation of 80/20, the launch of eDRAULIC 2.0, and development of eDRAULIC 3.0 battery rescue tools.
Chris was an inaugural graduate of the IDEX Leadership Excellence Program (LEP) in 2012, when he was a product engineer at GAST Manufacturing, a unit of IDEX specializing in precision pneumatics.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University. Married with two sons, in his spare time Chris enjoys cycling.
