Abigail Roche

Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer & Associate General Counsel

As the chief compliance officer, Abbie is responsible for ensuring that the company engages in ethical and compliant business practices around the globe. Guided by the IDEX values of Trust, Team, and Excellence, she leads the internal processes for promoting and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies, including the IDEX Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Abbie joined the company in 2014 as chief labor and employment counsel. In this role, she built an internal labor and employment function, providing business and legal advice on all facets of labor and employment law. Abbie co-managed the internal ethics hotline and partnered with Compliance to revise the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics to make it more globally relevant and provide useful, practical advice for our employees. She was named the chief compliance officer in February 2018.

Previously, Abbie served as in-house counsel for Hospira, Inc., where she led the labor and employment function. She also was a litigator at Seyfarth Shaw, LLIP, a top Chicago-based labor and employment law firm.

Abbie has a degree in psychology and counseling from the University of Iowa and holds a J. D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she graduated with honors. She lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband, Brian, and their three children.
