IDEX Fire & Safety’s Hale Products Supports Summer Camp for Young Burn Survivors

Company News
May 16, 2025

Kids who have experienced burn injuries can face self-esteem challenges as the world around them judges their physical appearance. That’s why Hale Products, a unit of IDEX Fire & Safety, is proudly partnering with Embers of Hope to sponsor their 2025 Burn Survivor Camp, providing young burn survivors with a life-changing experience filled with healing, support, and fun.

In March, Hale presented an IDEX Foundation donation of $28,000 to the Marion County Firefighters Benevolence Fund to support the 2025 Embers of Hope Burn Survivor Camp. Throughout camp, Hale also contributed their time by setting up activities, serving meals and filling back-to-school backpacks. This camp offers young burn survivors from across Florida a safe space for healing, support, and unforgettable experiences.

Embers of Hope founder Rebekah Johnson and burn camp attendee

For many of the young survivors, the camp is not just a vacation. It is an opportunity to heal and bond with others who share similar experiences.

“By supporting Embers of Hope camp, Hale Products allows the children and young adults an opportunity to feel a sense of belonging, that they are not alone in this tough road they are facing,” Hale customer service lead Susan Bartlett said. “At the same time offering family members time of respite, while the kids learn coping skills and develop friendships with other youth facing the same challenges.”

The Power of the Burn Survivors Camp

The Embers of Hope Burn Survivor Camp is a free 4-day, 3-night camp held at Lake Swan Camp in Melrose, Florida, for children ages 6 through 17 who have sustained a burn injury. The camp’s mission is clear: “empower children to embrace their burns while fostering a sense of community among peers.”

The camp provides an environment where children not only engage in traditional summer camp activities like swimming, canoeing, and arts and crafts, but also attend workshops on self-esteem, body image, and coping strategies, led by experienced counselors and professionals from the burn community. By offering these unique experiences, the camp helps children develop a healthy self-image and equips them with the emotional tools needed for their journey as survivors.

“Embers of Hope demonstrates that our efforts save lives daily,” said Hale customer service manager Stephen Santa Fe, who worked closely with Ember of Hope founder Rebekah Johnson and the IDEX Foundation to secure funding for the camp. “Providing this camp for children and witnessing the positive impact it has on their lives fills me with pride and joy. The support from IDEX and Hale further strengthens my belief in the value of our work and the product we offer.”

A Vital Partnership

Hale’s commitment to safety and innovation in the fire industry aligns seamlessly with their partnership with the Marion County Firefighters and Embers of Hope.

“The Hale team, renowned for its expertise in world-class fire and safety equipment, is committed to delivering high-quality, comprehensive solutions that address mission-critical problems, save lives, and enhance global safety,” Hale site leader Palmer Pendleton said. “Our partnership with Marion County Fire and Embers of Hope underscores Hale’s steadfast dedication to our values of Trust, Team, and Excellence not only in the industry we serve but also in our community.”

A Symbol of Hope

As the 2025 camp prepares for its transformative experiences, the partnership between Hale and Embers of Hope stands as a powerful example of what can be accomplished when businesses and nonprofits come together for the greater good. This donation is not just a financial contribution—it is an investment in the future of burn survivors, their families, and the broader community. It is a symbol of hope, resilience, and unwavering support.

“We are grateful to the Marion County Fire Department and Embers of Hope for allowing Hale Products to be part of their story,” Pendleton said.

NORTHBROOK, IL, May 1, 2025 – IDEX Corporation (NYSE: IEX) today announced its financial
results for the three-month period ended March 31, 2025.

“Our IDEX teams delivered better than expected revenue and profitability in the first quarter of 2025, with
all segments exceeding our expectations. Most encouragingly, all of our segments built backlog, mostly
accumulating within HST, fueled by an impressive large clean water project win from the Mott team,” said
Eric Ashleman, IDEX Corporation President and Chief Executive Officer. “Our previously announced
platform optimization and delayering efforts are on track to achieve an anticipated total of $43 million
impact for 2025.

We recognize that there are likely to be increasing levels of customer caution and slower decision-making
ahead. That said, we have yet to see any reduction in order rates through April in our rapid-turn
businesses that often serve as leading indicators of economic change. Nonetheless, we have proactively
identified another tranche of cost containment yielding an additional $20 million of savings for 2025 as an
offset to potential later-stage demand pressure.

IDEX is well positioned as we head into a period of fluid uncertainty. Our high-quality businesses deliver
tremendous value via critical solutions as a small percentage of the overall customer system cost. We
enjoy long tenured relationships with leading customers built on trust and credibility. Our businesses
generally operate locally within countries as we ideate, engineer, source, produce and sell our products.
Finally, our shared intuitive understanding of 8020 and breadth of market exposure allows us to shift
resources quickly from areas of pressure to advantaged applications.

Our strong cash generation and balance sheet provide significant capital deployment flexibility as we
strive to deliver consistent and attractive shareholder value sustainably in the long run. We continue to
build a large and attractive M&A funnel as we shape and scale our high-quality portfolio to support long-term advantaged markets.”

Full Year and Second Quarter 2025 Guidance
In 2025, the Company expects to generate GAAP diluted EPS of $6.56 – $6.95 (adjusted diluted EPS of
$8.10 – $8.45), based on expected full year organic sales growth of 1% to 3%. In the second quarter
2025, the Company expects to generate GAAP diluted EPS of $1.60 – $1.72 (adjusted diluted EPS of
$1.95 – $2.05), based on expected second quarter 2025 organic sales growth of 0% to 2%. Second
quarter and full year guidance reflects the estimated impact of tariffs and associated incremental price
realization and an additional tranche of cost actions to mitigate potential later-stage demand pressures.

Warren Rupp’s New Cognito 1″ Completes Range of Heavy-Duty EODD Pumps

Company News
April 17, 2025

Warren Rupp is revolutionizing the fluid transfer industry with its brand Cognito, the electrically operated double diaphragm (EODD) heavy-duty pump. The team recently introduced a new 1-inch model to their Cognito line of pumps. This 1-inch model is a measure of the intake and discharge pipe diameter, indicating the size of the inlet and outlet pipe.

Cognito pumps are designed to be highly energy-efficient, reliable, and sustainable. Unlike traditional pumps that rely on compressors and consume more energy, Cognito uses an advanced electric drive, saving up to 70% more energy. This innovation not only reduces energy consumption but also lowers the carbon footprint, making it a game-changer in the industry.

“Designed with our customers in mind, Cognito pumps provide innovative, energy-efficient options to move viscous fluids,” said David Llewellyn, General Manager at Warren Rupp.

Archana Gundre, Managing Director, FMT Pumps Group – Asia, added, “We are thrilled to introduce the Cognito 1” pump, marking the completion of our heavy-duty EODD range. Engineered for energy and operational efficiency, this pump is equipped with the same revolutionary features that have been establishing Cognito as a benchmark in various industries.”

This 1” heavy-duty pump, available in SS, AL, and PP materials, is specifically designed for core market segments like Oil & Gas, Chemical, Paints and Coating, Pharma, LI Battery, and PCB. The pump is best suited for unloading applications, including barrel, drum, OBC, and underground tank/pit unloading, where flow rates required are in the range of 100-110 LPM, and space is compact.

Key features of the new Cognito 1″ pump include:

– Energy Efficiency: It saves up to 70% in energy compared to traditional pumps, reducing environmental impact.

– High Performance: It offers impressive flow rates and pressure options.

– Low Maintenance: It boasts a low cost of ownership and requires minimal upkeep.

– Robust Design: It is built to last, with a longer diaphragm life and no seals, reducing failure rates.

Currently, Cognito 1” pumps are manufactured in India and China. With the introduction of the new 1-inch model, the Cognito lineup now includes a full range of pump sizes: 25 mm (1″), 50 mm (2”), 76 mm (3”), and 101 mm (4”).

Finding Their Voice: Trebor Team Attends Women in Manufacturing Conference

Company News
April 16, 2025

Last month, a group of women from Trebor International stepped off the production floor and into a room full of changemakers at the Utah Manufacturing Association’s Women in Manufacturing Conference. Attending alongside several production line employees were Trebor’s Senior Quality Engineer Narae Kim and Marketing Manager Sara Ann O’Leary. For many, the event was more than a professional development opportunity—it was a mindset shift.

For several of the attendees, it was their first time participating in a gathering focused entirely on the contributions, leadership, and presence of women in the manufacturing industry.

One pump technician, Tammy Yates, shared a personal takeaway that captured the heart of the day.

“In a room full of women who’ve been through what I’ve felt—doubting my voice, wondering if I belonged—I realized my knowledge matters,” she said. “I’ve worked on pumps for years, but I never thought of myself as someone who could lead. Now I do.”

That quiet yet powerful realization reflected a broader truth: when women are given space to connect, reflect, and see themselves in leadership roles, they rise. Since returning from the conference, Tammy has taken on a mentorship role with a new technician and has begun actively contributing in daily operations meetings with renewed confidence and purpose.

The conference sessions addressed key topics like workforce development, inclusive leadership, and the challenges women face in male-dominated fields. However, the most lasting impact came from the informal moments—stories exchanged over coffee and conversation. Stories of resilience. Stories of rising.

Trebor International remains committed to building on this momentum. Whether on the production floor manufacturing of Trebor’s non-corrosive AODD pumps for chemical delivery applications and heating systems, or in leadership, every voice matters. —This experience served as a powerful reminder that when those voices come together, meaningful change follows.
